Does anyone ever think of never-ending possibilities while in the heat? Under 'normal' circumstances, when I am not bursting into flames every time I walk outside, my mind runs amok with concepts for new stories, phrases that can be used in poems, or ideas for upcoming projects. Otherwise, my mind slows down to a snail's pace and my body exerts all its energy in order to keep reducing its temperature.
Today has been different.
Today I thought about heat.
Today I came to a cool realization. (Notice the pun?)
Heat is required to forge, to build, and to create. We experience fiery passions, set the world alight, and crave the intense whirlwind of the creative mind. With this, I have a few, simple suggestions:
Stay hydrated.
Keep close to the air conditioner.
Ponder on the fact that every idea comes from a blazing heart.
